Joining flautist Carol Shansky, a Temple member, were Diana Huges on piano, and Kimberly Burja, Darren Gage, and Jay O'Brien on percussion.</span>

This  year, Temple member Marty Breznick and his law partner John Cavallo, who are both immigration attorneys, spoke on “A Journey Like No Other." Refugee Shabbat was an opportunity for Temple Emeth to reaffirm and redouble our support for refugees, asylum seekers, and the forcibly displaced.</span>

Beginning in 2023, Temple Emeth has joined with Temple Sinai in Tenafly to collaborate on Religious School education for our students in grades K through 7. We are excited that this collaboration will provide a robust education in a vibrant setting guided by the values of Reform Judaism.</span>

Adult Ed Mini University: "Stories From a Jewish Perspective" begins Tuesday, March 26 at 8:00 pm 

Short stories by both Jewish and non-Jewish authors can give us insight into Jewish beliefs and customs. Beginning Tuesday, March 26 at 8:00 pm, join us for our peer-led class, "Stories of a Jewish Perspective." The class meets both in the Library and on Zoom. See the weekly email for Zoom login information. We will discuss a different story led by a different facilitator each week. Hard copies of the stories are available in the Temple office.

The class will run Tuesdays, March 26 through April 16 (makeup date).

Rabbi Louis J. Sigel Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin: Friday, March 29 - Sunday, March 31

Join us for our Rabbi Louis J. Sigel Scholar-in-Residence Weekend on Friday March 29 through Sunday March 31. The theme of the weekend will be "Martini Judaism: For Those Who Want to Be Shaken and Stirred" with guest scholar Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin.

B'yachad Breakfast with Professor Avri Rand on Sunday, April 7 at 10:30 am

On Sunday, April 7 at 10:30 am, come hear about the October 7 war, its impact on Israel today and the ramifications for US college campuses. Our speaker, Prof. Avri Ravid, is not only a finance professor, but also a veteran officer in the Yom Kippur War and former journalist. He is currently the Sy Syms Finance Chair at Yeshiva University. 

Brunch will be served at 10:30 am and the program will begin at 11:00 am. Please register here. The cost is $8 if you pre-register by Thursday, April 4 and $10 at the door.

Second Night Passover Seder - Please register  by Tuesday, April 9

Celebrate the second night of Passover at our annual Second Night Passover Seder with your Temple friends and family on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:00 pm.

Reservation forms can be found in the lobby, or you can view registration details on the flyer. Please reserve by Tuesday, April 9, and let us know if you have any special needs or seating preferences.  

Adults are $55 and children $35, if you reserve by Tuesday, April 9. After April 9, adults are $65 and children are $40. The final deadline for all registrations is Friday, April 19. Please contact Rachel Eastman with any questions.
